As tenure of the present Executive Committee of Varishth Nagrik Sewa Manch is ending on 31st March, 2018, elections were declared in AGM held on 24th February, 2018 to elect the new Executive Committee.
As per constitution of VNSM election were required to be held for the following positions:
1. President 1
2. Vice President 2
3. General Secretary 1
4. Asstt. General Secretary 1
After withdrawal of names following was the position of contesting candidates:
Accordingly elections were held on 24th March, 2018 from 11.00 AM to 1.30 PM at Community Centre, Sector-19 and 200+ members participated and cast their votes. Results were declared within next two hours. Position of candidates and votes secured by them are highlighted as under:
Shri JM Sharma for the position of President and Shri Prem Chand Gupta and Shri S.K. Thakkar for the position of Vice President were declared elected by the Election Committee.
