Independence Day was celebrated by the VNSM
at Community Centre, Sector-19,
Shri PN Arora, General Secretary in his opening speech welcomed distinguished guests and all the members of VNSM present during the occasion.
Song “Aey Mere Watan ke Logo” was played as a tribute to all the freedom fighters.
Flag Hosting was done by group of Distinguished Guests Air Comdr. AK Puri, Maj. OP Sikka, Shri Subhash Ahuja (Councillor) Shri JP Malhotra (Chief Petron), Shri SR Tewatia (Petron), Shri RK Chibber (President VNSM), Shri PN Arora (General Secretary VNSM), Shri Kailash Chander (Chowki Incharge- Sector 19).
Shri PN Arora invited distinguished guests one by one to address all present during the occasion.
Shri RK Chibber, Shri JP Malhotra, Shri Subhash Ahuja, Shri JP Gupta, Shri SR Tewatia, Shri HS Malik, Shri JM Sharma and Smt. Vimla Grover expressed their views about Independence Day and importance of the Freedom Fighter’s role which has allowed us to see the era of independence.
Smt. Vimla Grover also recited Shanti Path.
A young boy Vedic who seems to be impressed by Shaheed Bhagat Singh expressed the sentiments of immortal freedom fighter.
To conclude Shri PN Arora invited Shri SK Thakkar to deliver the Vote of Thanks to all present during the occasion.
Vote of Thanks by Shri SK Thakkar was followed by distribution of Prasad to all.
