Biennial Sports Meet January, 2018

As decided in the Executive Committee Meeting on 20th January, 2018 the Biennial Sports Meet Took Place on 27th January and events like Brisk Walk, Chess, Carrom Board and Cards (Sweep) were taken care of on that day itself declaring the Winners and Runner Ups for the individual event.

On 28th January, 2018 morning Musical Chair Event was organized in the presence of Chief Guest Shri Subhash Ahuja, Councillor.

Immediately after finish of Musical Chair Event,  Prize Distribution Ceremony took place.

Shri Dinesh Garg, President RWA and Special Invitee Member of VNSM invited Chief Guest to address the gathering.  Shri Subhash Ahuja, Councillor (Chief Guest) appreciated the activities being conducted by Varishth Nagrik Sewa Manch and assured that he will always be there to help and support VNSM at times of need.  Shri Satish Gupta, President, Shri PC Sharma, General Secretary and Shri CS Dalal, Executive Member also addressed the gathering sharing their views.

Trophies and Certificates were presented to the Winners and Runner Ups of  events conducted and Memento and Certificates were also given to all the members who participated in the games.

Thereafter light refreshment was served to all present.

Executive Committee Meeting

Executive Member's Meeting of  Varishth Nagrik Sewa Manch was called on 20th January, 2017 in order to analyse the entries of members received for participation in various games. Entries were taken on record and draws were drawn to organize the game in smooth manner.

In addition to trophies to be given to winners and runner ups it was decided that a memento and a certificate of participation will also be given to all the participating members.

Shri Satish Gupta personally took pain for procuring the Trophies from Delhi.

Shri CS Dalal, Shri Dinesh Garg, Shri Satish Gupta were given the responsibility to observe and judge the events.

Shri VK Mangla and GC Gupta were given the responsibility of hospitality part during the games.

Shri Mohinder Kumar was given the responsibility to design and print the Certificate of Participation.

Schedule as drawn above was displayed on Notice Board at Community Centre, Sector-19 and participating members were also informed over phone regarding their event, date and timings. 

Name of  Shri Satish Gupta and Shri MaheshChand Gupta was added in the Brisk Walk (above 65 year) on the spot on 27th Morning.

Executive Committee Meeting 2nd January, 2018

As decided in Executive Committee Meeting held on 18.11.2017, a meeting of Executive Committee is being held today i.e. 2.1.2018 to discuss the plan for organizing the bi-yearly sports meet on 27th and 28th January, 2018 and any other matters with permission of Chair.

Points Discussed

1. Executive Members to motivate members for participation in the bi-yearly Sports Meet.
2. Distribution of Sport's Meet Circular to all the members of VNSM and collect nomination and requisite fee latest by 14th January, 2018.
3. Members willing to participate in the games can collect as well as submit the forms along with requisite fee to Shri Dinesh Garg at Community Center, Sector-19, Faridabad by 14th January, 2018 positively.
4. On receipt of nomination from members, draws will be drawn and final execution plan will be displayed on Board with names of Executive Members who will be in-charge for conducting the games.
5. A meeting of Executive Members is scheduled for 21st January, 2018 timings of which will be conveyed later on.
6. Shri Dinesh Garg, President RWA and Special Invitee Member VNSM informed  that a tour to Singapore is under finalization from 7th March to 12th March, 2018. Members interested to travel may give their names to him latest by 7th January, 2018. No request will be entertained after the said date.
7. A committee comprising of  Shri Satish Gupta, Shri Dinesh Garg, Shri Vasudev Satija, Shri SK Thakkar and Dr. Rajvir Singh was constituted to explore and suggest purchase of books for enriching the Library meant for VNSM Members.

Executive Committee Meeting 18th November, 2017

As decided in Governing Body Meeting held on 11.11.2018 a meeting of Executive Committee is being held today i.e. 18.11.2017 at 4.30 PM in Community Center, Sector-19, Faridabad to discuss future activities of VNSM and chalk out a plan for the same.  Also any other matter for discussion with the permission of Chair.

2. Bi-Yearly games to be conducted in the month of January, 2018 tentative dates being 27th and 28th January, 2018, for which action plan to be formulated and conveyed to the members in advance.
3. AGM to be conducted in the month of February, 2018 for which date will be fixed later on.
4. Elections for  Governing Body Members and Executive Members to be conducted in the month of March, 2018 and activities for the same to be started in February, 2018.
