The
Annual General Meeting was held on 20th May, 2017 at 10.30 A.M. in
Community Centre, Sector 19, Faridabad
At the outset
the President, welcomed the members present in the meeting. The minutes of last General Body Meeting,
held on 13.4.2018 were confirmed by all the members present in the meeting.
The members were
informed that for the convenience of very senior members whose kiths and kins
might have gone somewhere for a brief period and they feel for any help, a Help
Group has been constituted. The names of
the Members were as under:
1)
Shri Raj Kumar Chhiber, (2)
Shri Sunil Kumar (3) Shri Vipul Trikha
and (4) Shri Mohinder Kumar
The list of
members alongwith their telephone numbers has been displayed on the Notice
Board of VNSM and the same was also loudly read before the presents. The interested members were requested to
contact any/all of them in the hour of need.
The Names of
Members of Sports Committee and Organizing Committee were also intimated to the members. This Committee under the chairpersonship of
Shri C.S.Dalal shall arrange the sports for the Members of VNSM as and when
found necessary. The list comprising
Shri C.S.Dal;al, Shri Chakarvarty, Shri Sunil Kumar has also been displayed on
the Notice Board. The Organising Committee comprised of Shri Mahesh Mittal, Dr.
Rajbir Singh and Shri Satvir Panwar.
It was informed
to the members that VNSM shall be celebrating the 4th International
Yoga Day on 21st June, 2018 in Sector 19 under the leadership of
Shri P.C.Gupta, Vice President who preaches Yoga daily. The balance Sheet for
the Financial Year 2017-18 as submitted by the last Governing Body was approved
by all the Members present.
It was brought
to the notice of Members that representations in writing as well as verbal have
been received that the subscription for life membership should be reduced to
Rs. 500/- as was fixed by VNSM at the time of inception, since the present rate
ofRs.1100/- is too high to be borne by the retired persons. The matter was deliberated at great length
and quite a large numbers present participated in the debate. Finally, it was decided that the Life
Membership Subscription for all, whether male or female or spouse may be kept
at Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred only) per member for new aspirants. No claim of
the existing members who might havepaid Rs. 1100/- as Life Membership, for
refund, if any, shall be accepted.
The Chief Patron
in his address desired that VNSM should also arrange some cultural programmes
for the entertainment of members. The
advice was noted for implementation.
The President in
his address gave a brief account of our activities and requested all the
members to be present in the meetings without fail. He also requested all the Executive Committee
Members to start a membership drive to
increase the membership. During the
meeting some of the members sang songs, poems etc. Shri Tewatia,Patron also addressed the
present members.
The meeting ended
with a vote of thanks to the chair.
