वरिष्ट नागरिको के लिए खेलों का प्रोग्राम की सूचना

      वरिष्ट नागरिक सेवा मंच द्वारा 19 व् 20 जनवरी 2019 को अपने सदस्यों के लिए निमंलिखित खेल आयोजित करने का प्रस्ताव है I प्रत्येक खेल का विवरण नीचे दी गई सारिणी में दिया गया है I  जो सदस्य इन खेलों में भाग लेना चाहते हों वे अपना नामांकन श्री के सी चक्रवर्ती के पास दिनांक  5 से 10.1.2019 तक जमा करा दें I

नोट: 1)  इन खेलों के लिए श्री सीo एसo  दलाल, श्री केo सीo चकर्वर्ति तथा श्री सुनील कुमार की एक समिति नियुक्त की गई है तथा यह समिति  ही सारे खेल आयोजित करेगीI अत: खेलों के सम्बन्ध में किसी भी तरह की जानकारी श्री दलाल (मोब:9818076314) अथवा श्री चकर्वर्ति (मोब: 9873715760) से ली जा सकती है I 

२) साइकिलिंग को छोढ कर बाकी सभी खेलों के लिए संबंधित सामान मंच द्वारा उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा I जैसा कि ऊपर बताया गया है नामांकन फीस प्रति व्यक्ति प्रति खेल ५०/- रूपए  है यदि कोई व्यक्ति सभी खेलों में भाग लेना चाहता है तो अधिक से अधिक फीस २००/- रूपए ((maximum fee Rs. 200/-) होगी I नाम्मांकन फीस  के बिना किसी को भी खेलों में भाग नहीं लेने दिया जाएगा I

३) प्रत्येक खेल में अंपायर ( Umpire) का निर्णय अंतिम होगा I यदि कोई प्लेयर अंपायर के फैसले से सहमत नहीं हो तो प्रेसिडेंट व० न० से० म० का निर्यण अंतिम होगा I(Decision of the umpire in each game will be final. However, if any player is not satisfied with the decision of umpire, the matter will be referred to the President, VNSM and his decision will be final).

४) Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Games will be held on 26.1.2019(गणतंत्र दिवस)  after the Flag Hoisting Ceremony.

GBM 23rd December, 2018

The General Body meeting of VNSM was held on 23.12.2018 in Community Center, Sector 19 at 11.00 A.M.  In his opening remarks the President extended New Year (2019) greetings to the members of VNSM and welcomed everyone present.  He also explained some of the significant activities like two short duration tours, Elders’ Day Celebrations, two Health Check up camps together with YOGA SHIVIR on International Yoga Day.  The President also extended his gratitude to President, RWA, Sector 19 for coming forward to help financially for Elders’ Day Celebrations.               

While discussing the regular agenda, General Secretary also informed the members present about the activities since taking over in April, 2018 including the transparency in day-to-day activities of the Manch. 

Tours during 2019 :  Shri S.K.Thakkar, Vice President explained about the proposed tour to Goa(3 nights/4days) during February, 2019 including the cost of the tour and other details and requested members to indicate their intent for participating the proposed journey to Goa.  Some of the members enquired about the cost and minute details of the cost which were clarified by Sh.Thakkar.  One member apprehended that the cost of tour appears high to which it was informed that the proposal has been mooted after studying various offers on internet, however, if the members concerned still feels that low cost tour offers are available he may come up by 24.12.2018 after which action will be taken on the present proposal.

Details about the tour abroad for tour to Europe were explained by Shri Dinesh Garg who has been made coordinator for tours abroad.  He presented two offers for visiting six-seven countries of Central Europe and finally it appeared that members were interested for tour which included London besides other countries of Central Europe namely, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Vetican etc involving 14 Nights/15 days duration with an approximate cost of Rs.2.40 lakh per head.  Interested members may indicate their intent alongwith advance money to Shri Dinesh Garg.  The organizer of the tour was Globlized Yatra with whom VNSM have already organized more than 10 tours during the past few years.

Sports for Members:  The details of sports to be organized in January, 2019 were explained by General Secretary and all the members were requested to indicate their intent to Shri KC Chakravarty, Executive Committee Member between 5 and 10.1.2019.  The details of nomination fee, procedure, names of the games were given in the circular which was displayed on the Notice Board.  It was also desired by President to give wide publicity to the circular by placing on VNSM Website, Whatsap  groups of VNSM Members etc.  The games will be held on 19-20.1.2019 followed by Prize Distribution on 26.1.2019.  Keeping in view the expenditure on the event, the members were informed that talks for finding out a sponsor are in progress and Governing Body was hopeful of some positive results.

A two days Yog Shivir will be held in February, 2019 for which Shri P.C.Gupta, Vice President was requested to make arrangements.  It was also a demand from some of the participants. Publicity about the Shivir will be done by suitable banners.

Finally, in the interaction session, some of the members sang songs/poems.  ALPAHAAR was served at the end of the meeting.  The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the Chair.

Visit to Kurukshetra

A visit to Kurukshetra was organized by the Varishth Nagrik 'Sewa Manch, Sector-19 for its Members on 5th December, 2018. Members also visited Gurukul Naturopathi Centre.  Few photographs taken during the visit are placed here under:

Health Talk on Bones and Joints Diseases

Varishth Nagrik Sewa Manch in collaboration with Sarvodaya Hospital is organizing a talk on bones and joints diseases alongwith Bone Density Test, BP Test and Blood Sugar Test on Sunday the 9th December, 2018 at Community Centre, Sector-19, Faridabad. All Members of VNSM are requested to attend the Camp.

Executive Committee Meeting - 23.11.2018

While welcoming the members, Shri J.M.Sharma informed that this is a follow up of the Governing Body meeting held on 21.11.2018 in which some of the items like conducting a short duration excursion trip, fixing date for next general body meeting and any other item that the members of EC suggest for consideration, were deliberated and it was decided to further discuss them in the EC meeting for appropriate decision. Accordingly the following decisions were made:

1.  The next General Body meeting may be held on 23.12.2018 for which General Secretary     was asked to finalise the agenda and issue notices in time.
2.  As regards conducting extrusion trip Shri S.K.Thakker, Vice President proposed three options for tour to Kurukshetra, Lohagarh Farms near Gurgaon and Jaipur-Ajmer.  It was decided that the trip may be sent to Kurukshetra which is a religious as well as historical importance place and can be conducted on the same day.  Pursuant to discussion with buswala, contribution for to-and fro journey, breakfast, lunch and evening tea with snacks an approximate amount of Rs.800/-   per person, was worked out.  The date of journey would be 5^th December, 2018.  GS will issue a notice immediately so that it reaches all the members in time.  Shri R.K.Miglani, Finance Secretary and Dr. Rajbir singh, Org. Secretary were identified for booking seats on first-cum-first book basis on 29-30.11.2018. Shri Thakker and Sh. Sunil Kumar will be the Coordinator.
3. It was also decided that Shri C.S.Dalal, Shri Chakarvarty and Shri Satvir Singh who are on Sports Committee, may chalk out a schedule for organizing Sports Events for Senior Citizens in early second fortnight of January, 2019 so as to club the prize distribution ceremony with Republic Day Ceremony.  The entry fee would be Rs. 50/- for one participant for one event and maximum Rs. 200/- for all the events even if a member takes part in more than four events. Shri Chakravarty  was requested to discuss with Shri Dalal since he could not attend the meeting.
4. It was also decided that Shri P.C. Gupta, Vice President alongwith his yoga team comprising Shri Sunil Kumar would explore the possibility of orgaizing a Yoga Camp sometimes in February, 2019 and inform suitable date(s) so that arrangements for sending communications are made in time.
5. On the suggestion of Shri Gupta, Vice President, it was also decided to organize a health check camp shortly.   Accordingly discussion was made with marketing team of  Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 19, Faridabad and it was finalized to hold the camp on 9.12.2018.  GS and President will hold further discussions with the hospital for smooth conduct of camp.
6. Shri SK Thakker, Vice President and Shri Miglani, Finane Secretary who were earlier nominated for procurement of a suitable model of PA system, were requested to expedite the purchase.
