Executive Committee Meeting - 23.11.2018

While welcoming the members, Shri J.M.Sharma informed that this is a follow up of the Governing Body meeting held on 21.11.2018 in which some of the items like conducting a short duration excursion trip, fixing date for next general body meeting and any other item that the members of EC suggest for consideration, were deliberated and it was decided to further discuss them in the EC meeting for appropriate decision. Accordingly the following decisions were made:

1.  The next General Body meeting may be held on 23.12.2018 for which General Secretary     was asked to finalise the agenda and issue notices in time.
2.  As regards conducting extrusion trip Shri S.K.Thakker, Vice President proposed three options for tour to Kurukshetra, Lohagarh Farms near Gurgaon and Jaipur-Ajmer.  It was decided that the trip may be sent to Kurukshetra which is a religious as well as historical importance place and can be conducted on the same day.  Pursuant to discussion with buswala, contribution for to-and fro journey, breakfast, lunch and evening tea with snacks an approximate amount of Rs.800/-   per person, was worked out.  The date of journey would be 5^th December, 2018.  GS will issue a notice immediately so that it reaches all the members in time.  Shri R.K.Miglani, Finance Secretary and Dr. Rajbir singh, Org. Secretary were identified for booking seats on first-cum-first book basis on 29-30.11.2018. Shri Thakker and Sh. Sunil Kumar will be the Coordinator.
3. It was also decided that Shri C.S.Dalal, Shri Chakarvarty and Shri Satvir Singh who are on Sports Committee, may chalk out a schedule for organizing Sports Events for Senior Citizens in early second fortnight of January, 2019 so as to club the prize distribution ceremony with Republic Day Ceremony.  The entry fee would be Rs. 50/- for one participant for one event and maximum Rs. 200/- for all the events even if a member takes part in more than four events. Shri Chakravarty  was requested to discuss with Shri Dalal since he could not attend the meeting.
4. It was also decided that Shri P.C. Gupta, Vice President alongwith his yoga team comprising Shri Sunil Kumar would explore the possibility of orgaizing a Yoga Camp sometimes in February, 2019 and inform suitable date(s) so that arrangements for sending communications are made in time.
5. On the suggestion of Shri Gupta, Vice President, it was also decided to organize a health check camp shortly.   Accordingly discussion was made with marketing team of  Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 19, Faridabad and it was finalized to hold the camp on 9.12.2018.  GS and President will hold further discussions with the hospital for smooth conduct of camp.
6. Shri SK Thakker, Vice President and Shri Miglani, Finane Secretary who were earlier nominated for procurement of a suitable model of PA system, were requested to expedite the purchase.
