Executive Committee Meeting - 9th September,2018



         A meeting of Executive Committee of VNSM was held on 9.9.2018 at 5.30 p.m.  While welcoming the members, Shri J.M.Sharma, President gave a brief of recent trip arranged for members of VNSM to Garhmukteshwar on 2nd September, 2018 and connected visit to Guru Vishram Vridh Aashram, Garhmukteshwar.  Besides other details, Shri JM Sharma informed that all the persons on trip were very happy and enjoyed the tour.  The members desired to keep on conducting such tours in future also.  Shri Thakker explained about next proposed trip to Kurukshetra linked with visit to Naturopathy Health Centre there, sometimes in November for which a decision will be taken in the ensuing meeting of General Body.
             General Secretary informed that after continuous persuasion we could obtain fresh Password for submission of data/information on-line to the Office of Registrar of Societies, Haryana, All the EC members were requested to furnish a copy of their Aadhar Card (a mandatory document) for submitting online alongwith other details of the members to Registrar of Societies.
            The President briefed the Members about meeting with Hon’ble Commerce Minister, Haryana regarding allotment of a separate plot of land for VNSM.  A memo was submitted to the Minister on his recent visit to Sector 19 explained urgent need of a separate plot or alternatively construction of a floor exclusively for VNSM in the existing building of Community Centre, Sector 19.  The Minister there and then directed the Counselor Shri  Subhash Ahuja to find out from HUDA authorities, if there is any technical problem in getting the proposed plot near Sector19 Police Post.  Despite two reminders, little progress could be seen.  It was thought that office bearers of VNSM including President may take along the Counselor to HUDA/FMC office for finding out the status for allotment shortly.
       Likewise previous years it was decided to celebrate Elders’ Day.  Keeping in view the convenience of all, it was decided to hold function on Sunday, the 7th October, 2018.  The members who have attained the age of 80 years as on 30.9.2018 would be honoured with a Shawl, a Samman Patra and a Rose Bud. A Committee comprising of following Members was constituted to finalize arrangements/program, arrange finances for holding the function in a successful manner.

           Shri Sunil Kumar will also associate with the Committee for ensuring a success to the program.      
    Since the General Body meeting is to be held every quarter, this day (7.10.2018) would also be considered as holding General Body meeting for which the only agenda would be celebrating Elders’ Day.
    The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
